Heironeous was a major deity, and was the god of chivalry, justice, honor, war, daring, and valor. His symbol was a silver lightning bolt in a clenched fist. His mortal enemy was his evil half-brother, [[Hextor]], whom he slew in honorable combat during the War of the Gods. Shortly after he dealt the killing blow, however, he was ambushed by [[Nerull]], and in his weakened state after the battle was easily overcome and killed by the god of death.
